The Dilemma

Nia and Bolanle, both 12 years old, were best friends who shared almost everything. One day, while playing in the park, they found a stray kitten. Nia immediately wanted to take it home, but Bolanle reminded her that her parents were allergic to cats. Instead, Bolanle suggested they take the kitten to the local animal shelter. Nia felt torn because she had always wanted a pet and thought she could hide the kitten in her room, but she also valued Bolanle's advice and knew it was the responsible thing to do. As they debated, Nia noticed the kitten seemed scared and hungry, which made her want to care for it even more. However, Bolanle pointed out that the shelter could provide the kitten with proper care and a chance to find a good home. Nia The next move is up to them.
