Owen and Xiaoli are both excited about the upcoming school talent show. Owen has been practicing his magic act for weeks, while Xiaoli plans to sing a song she wrote. A few days before the event, Owen overhears some classmates making fun of his magic tricks, calling them childish and boring. This makes Owen feel embarrassed and doubt his performance. Xiaoli notices Owen’s distress and suggests he could change his act to something more popular, like a dance routine, to avoid being mocked. Owen is torn because he loves magic and has worked hard on his act, but he also fears being ridiculed on stage. Owen Now they have to decide.
