The Dilemma

Xiaoli and Owen are in the same class at school. Recently, Owen has been teasing Xiaoli about her new glasses, calling her names and making jokes in front of their classmates. Xiaoli feels hurt and embarrassed, but she also knows that Owen is going through a tough time at home. Their teacher has been talking about how important it is to be kind and understanding, even when others are not. One day, during recess, Owen's backpack accidentally spills open, and Xiaoli notices a note about his family situation. She feels a mix of emotions: anger at Owen for his teasing, but also empathy for his struggles. Xiaoli The choice is theirs to make.
